Estepona has organised several activities to celebrate Halloween Night 2023 with parties and a costume contest, which will take place next Tuesday 31 October, in the municipal stand of the fairground, sports and leisure park, the Halloween party will take place from 19.00 to 00.00 hours, and will feature a live performance by the pop rock band ‘LongPlay’, with their own songs and covers of songs from the 80s. There will also be two performances of “terrifying” choreographies by the students of Laura and Sara Perea’s dance academy. The master of ceremonies for this family party will be the Esteponero artist Roberto Aragón.
The municipal stand will change its usual appearance to “welcome ghostly and ghostly beings from beyond the grave who will add to the atmosphere of the party”. In addition to the costumes, there will be decorative elements such as pumpkins, skeletons and mummies. Another of the attractions of the night will be the ‘Pasaje del Terror’ which will be set up in the Caseta Municipal and will feature actors who will recreate scary scenes. There will also be a space where there will be a replica of Regan’s room, the girl possessed by the devil in William Friedkin’s film ‘The Exorcist’.
In relation to the competition, the categories of the best characterised group and another themed group, both with prizes of 500 euros, the most sinister family with 200 euros, the most terrifying character with a prize of 100 euros and another 100 for the best characterisation.
