The Fuengirola fairgrounds will host a new edition of ‘Fuengirola Comic Con’, the largest convention in Spain related to the ninth art. Specifically, it will take place on the 18th and 19th of November and will feature cosplay, photocalls, K-pop, manga, anime concerts, workshops, competitions, merchandising, among others.
GUESTS
As for the guests who will be present at this edition, Romero revealed that there will be figures from the world of comics “such as Jorge Jiménez, who is currently the main cartoonist for Batman; Sergio Dávila, Rafa Sandoval and Jorge Fornés, who is doing fantastic work for DC. We will also have, as in previous years, actors and dubbing actors, a large presence of cosplayers and for all those who enjoy dressing up as their favourite characters, there will be workshops there on how to prepare their own cosplay”.
In this sense, he pointed out that “the workshops are going to be crazy, because they are not only going to be artistic workshops, we are also going to have classes in Japanese, K-Pop, how to dance K-Pop or how to perform K-Pop songs, we are going to have a significant presence of Korean culture in the venue itself, as well as signing sessions and an Artist Alley full of wonderful artists who are going to be showing their art to all the visitors, among other activities”.
There will also be the presence of youtubers, different contests, merchandising, anime concerts, photocall areas, among others, “we will also be the only convention in Europe that will have an exclusive Marvel comic, with a cover dedicated to the Fuengirola Comic Con, which I think all Fuengiroleños will want to have it at home because I have already been able to see it and it is really wonderful”.
