Tostón in Marbella and San Pedro de Alcántara

In the beautiful city of Marbella and San Pedro de Alcántara, prepares to celebrate every year a very special tradition: the “tostón”. This event, which attracts adults and children alike, where 500 kilos of chestnuts are distributed.

The “tostón” is a popular festival that takes place in November, when chestnuts are in full season. During this event, chestnuts are roasted in huge iron frying pans.

The sweet, smoky fragrance of roasting chestnuts fills the air, creating a cosy and festive atmosphere. Attendees can enjoy the freshly roasted chestnuts, hot and delicious.
