Stories and songs for babies

The Delegation of Culture of the Marbella Town Hall informs that this Friday 18th November a “Storytelling and Singing Workshop for Babies” will be held at the Fernando Alcalá Central Library in Marbella.

The event is the third of the activities aimed at family audiences within the autumn programme of the Central Library and its main objectives are to bring children’s literature through music from an early age and to promote creative cultural development from childhood, considering children as a strategic audience in the municipal educational and cultural planning.

In these sessions, the participants will explore sound through improvisation, the approach to percussion instruments and will internalise music by understanding it through movement, the body and active listening.

Through music, communication and growth are promoted, enabling each child to live the musical experience according to their concerns and needs, favouring the affective relationship between mothers and fathers and children and providing children with positive musical experiences for their development.
